AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Resources Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Henderson, NV.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings.
- Participate in conducting water resources engineering investigations and planning work, including hydrologic and hydraulic models.
- Develop GIS figures and assist in the preparation of drainage reports.
- Research feasibility and alternative design approaches.
- Use technical writing to help prepare specifications, permits applications and reports.
- Assist is preparing man-hour and material cost estimates.
- Produce quality control checks and maintain quality standards.
- Perform engineering calculations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years working in civil engineering.
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- SPECIAL SKILLS: Written and verbal communication skills, computing and computational knowledge, ability to perform engineering calculations.
- PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: None at this level.
