In this role, you’ll ensure the successful delivery of Risk Management services in a consistent and professional manner. You’ll implement effective risk management processes to actively reduce risk exposure and uncertainty on projects and programmes. Your expertise will support the development and implementation of risk management approaches and systems for clients, incorporating best practices and procedures.

You’ll facilitate workshops and engage with project teams to ensure the effective implementation of risk management. Conducting risk analyses using industry-recognized software and databases will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you’ll produce risk reports that summarize outputs to meet the needs of the project or programme.

As part of our continuous improvement and innovation efforts, you’ll contribute to the development of new risk management processes, procedures, and tools. You’ll also assist with the preparation of bids and proposals to secure new commissions. Supporting business development, client engagement, and other profile-raising activities to promote our risk management services will be essential.

We’re looking for someone with a recognized diploma or degree, or equivalent experience, with a qualification in risk management. You should have experience working on major infrastructure projects in sectors such as Transportation, Energy, or Infrastructure. Competency in implementing Risk Management processes aligned with ISO31000, Institute of Risk Management, or Association of Project Management methodologies is crucial.

Your skills should include initiating, developing, and implementing risk management processes, facilitating workshops, conducting risk reviews, and applying qualitative scoring of risks. Proficiency in Quantitative Risk Analysis techniques and the ability to produce appropriate risk management reports to inform decision-making are also important. Awareness of industry risk management tools such as ARM, Xactium, Primavera Risk Analysis, SafranRisk, @Risk, and Risk Predict is beneficial.

An understanding of the Value Management process and its application on projects, as well as knowledge of how risk management integrates with other Project Management and Project Controls disciplines, including cost estimating, project planning, and contract administration, will set you apart.
