AtkinsRéalis is hiring a skilled and experienced Procurement Model Delivery Advisor with proven rail / transportation industry experience to join our team. This position is based in Toronto, Ontario.
Your role within the team:
• Interface with the client on delicate matters tactfully and professionally while protecting Atkins Realis’s interests, including Interfacing with internal stakeholders as required
• Assess the project requirements and risk analysis to recommend a model that aligns with business strategy, funding, schedule, resources, and market analysis.
• Review of Project Requirements Register, Risk Register, Interface Register, Procurement Options Analysis, Project Management Plan, Stakeholder Management Plan, and any other project documentation as requested by the project team.
• Support in the Preparation of Risk Register including developing Procurement Strategy/Option and market sounding.
• Identifies and analyzes potential commercial risks and liabilities associated with ongoing projects and supplier agreements.
• Work closely with the procurement manager to ensure flow down of the prime contract terms to other related contracts on ongoing projects, including assisting the project teams in the understanding and interpretation of the contract language.
• Collaborate with proposal teams in the proposal strategy development and in the preparation and review of commercial contracts, subcontracts and other agreements as required.
• Provides commercial support in contract administration and in the preparation of minutes of meeting recording agreed decisions and actions going forward, narratives and entitlement documentation and the resolution of claims.

The ideal candidate:
• Completion of a University degree or postgraduate qualification in Science or Engineering from an accredited university, combined with progressive related work experience.
• Demonstrates a minimum of 10 years of extensive experience with selecting the most suitable delivery method and structuring contract for train yard design and construction of transit projects.
• Additional qualifications in business, commerce, procurement, supply chain management (PMAC or equivalent) or equivalent, and/or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong experience in procurement advisory, planning, governance, and reporting in a complex organization including an understanding of relevant policies, processes, and systems.
• Experience with developing and implementing strategies to build organizational capability in procurement given the complex legislative and policy environment and the diversity of market factors that can affect procurement decisions.
• Experience with creating innovative ways for the success of preferred delivery methods in public sector organizations.
