We are seeking a Quality Manager to join our renewables energy team! This role requires the candidate to be at the project construction site 3 weeks a month on a rotational schedule.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Provides direct oversight and review of the entire documentation and physical inspection phase of the workflow process to produce and document quality for the permanent works of the project.

  • The Quality Manager coordinates monitoring, inspections and proposes measures to correct or improve fabrication and/or installation of equipment and materials to meet established quality standards.

  • Develop and implement Quality Assurance Plan.

  • Establish and communicate quality expectations for the full project.

  • Review contractor quality assurance and quality control plans for compliance with quality expectations for the project.

  • Develop plans for managing quality oversight through fabrication, construction, and commissioning.

  • Coordinate and complete oversight of quality inspections onsite.

What will you contribute?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business Management, Engineering or Technical field required plus a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field of quality control. Without a degree, eight years’ of related experience in the field of quality control.
  • Must possess experience in quality assurance/control, developing QMS, working with supply chain/procurement and inspection/testing/product conformity.
  • Strong networking, interpersonal, teamwork, collaboration skills required.
  • Possess the knowledge and ability to effectively conduct different types of audits in a professional, ethical and objective manner using and interpreting applicable standards/requirements.
  • Ability effectively plan, develop, communicate and execute an audit within a defined scope, including resource scheduling, conducting necessary meetings in performance of the audit and using appropriate auditing techniques
  • Ability to verify, document and communicate audit results, develop an audit report and evaluate the effectiveness of a corrective action/follow
  • Understanding of how quality principles relate to business protocols and possess the ability to explain the importance of aligning QMS functions to the organization.
  • Possess interpersonal skills to resolve conflict, conduct interviews and make presentations effectively.
  • Strong process and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and determine course of action.
  • Strong ability to interact collaboratively with team members and clients.
  • Good organizational and time a management skills with ability to perform under pressure and to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Requires strong PC skills and ability to work in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project).
  • Strong knowledge of materials management systems preferred.
