Senior Geotechnical Technician

Your role within the team:
- Plan, coordinate and execute ground investigations for transportation, infrastructure and mining projects.
- Perform subgrade inspections and site supervision of earthworks construction.
- Install and monitor geotechnical instrumentation.
- Collaborate with teams to further technological and digital advancement.
- Work on large projects with other groups such and Geomatics, Environment, and Materials Testing and cross-train as required to achieve common goal.

The ideal candidate:
- Civil Engineering Technology or Geological Engineering Technology diploma.
- 5 - 10 years of related experience in Geotechnical Technology.
- Valid Ontario drivers license.
- Ability to work and travel throughout Ontario with the potential for out-of-province assignments.
- Positive attitude and uncompromising commitment to health and safety.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and proven ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments.
- A good understanding of MS Office.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and a high level of energy.
