AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer (Arabic Speaker) to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of planning and managing large-scale building, mixed-use developments, and villa projects. As a Senior Planning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires expertise in site operations, project scheduling, resource management, and risk management.

Language Requirement: Must be an Arabic speaker.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and scheduling of building, mixed-use developments, and villa projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop detailed project plans using appropriate project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project), ensuring resources, timelines, and costs are properly managed.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables.
• Track project progress, prepare and present regular status reports, highlighting risks, delays, or potential issues and providing mitigation solutions.
• Ensure the project schedule is updated and reflect the accurate progress, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage resource allocation, including workforce, materials, and equipment, ensuring optimal use for project efficiency.
• Review project designs and plans, ensuring they align with construction schedules and meet technical requirements.
• Support the project manager in ensuring adherence to health and safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate between various teams to ensure effective communication and seamless workflow between departments.
• Mentor junior planning engineers, providing guidance and support in their career development.
• Participate in project risk analysis, developing strategies to mitigate and manage potential risks.
• Contribute to project budget forecasting and cost control processes, ensuring financial alignment with project milestones.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in planning engineering, with a focus on building, mixed-use, and villa projects.
• Must be currently based in the UAE.
• Extensive experience in site operations, project scheduling, cost management, and resource allocation for large-scale construction projects.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, from design through to execution and delivery.
• Ability to identify, assess, and manage project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues that may impact project delivery.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across different teams and stakeholders.
• Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is required, with a good command of English.
• Must be located insude UAE

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with large residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, codes, and industry best practices.
• Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) are highly desirable.
