National Apprenticeship Week 2025: celebrating our apprentices

With an AtkinsRéalis apprenticeship, you’re in great company - our apprentices always have the opportunity to be part of a wide variety of projects that can leave a lasting legacy on the world around them.

AtkinsRéalis recognizes the importance of National Apprenticeship Week in the UK. So, in this blog, we’ll be breaking down the significance of apprenticeships and shining the spotlight on some of our apprentice stories so you can get a real feel for life at AtkinsRéalis.

What is National Apprenticeship Week in the UK?

This year, National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) runs from the 10th to the 16th of February and is a pretty big week in the apprenticeship calendar!

The week-long celebration aims to bring together businesses and apprentices across the UK to draw attention to the positive impact made by apprentices on individuals, businesses, and the wider economy, something we wholeheartedly support at AtkinsRéalis.

If you’re keen to get involved in NAW, you can check out the event map on the NAW website.

What is the theme of National Apprenticeship Week 2025?

NAW 2025 is centred around ‘Skills For Life’.

Everyone is encouraged to celebrate apprenticeships and the skills they foster when it comes to developing rewarding and future-ready careers. Sharing engaging stories of apprentice and learner progression is always a key focus of NAW and we’ll be spotlighting some of our own apprentices later in this article.
