We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing the construction of various infrastructure and structural projects. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyse structural systems for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructures using advanced engineering software.
- Develop and review detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure design integrity and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success from conception through to completion.
- Prepare calculations, reports, and technical documentation for project bids and proposals.
- Evaluate the structural integrity of existing structures and recommend necessary repairs or reinforcements.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate into design practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in structural engineering.
- Strong expertise in using structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD Pro, RISA, etc.).
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design tools.
- Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively working with team members and stakeholders.
