AtkinsRéalis' Power, Renewable & Life sciences sector, is recruiting for a Material Management Specialist to join our supply chain/procurement team to support general material management functions across the Power sector, working within Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) and EPCM portfolios throughout North America. This role is a hybrid position that can be based out of our Burnaby, Calgary or Toronto offices and may require travel to sites, supply chain and client offices, as well as related international travel as required from time to time.

Your role within the team:

  • Manage and expedite standard materials following established policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure goods are received in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Coordinate and Interface with key stakeholders across various internal and external client departments, including Project Management, Project Control, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Construction Management, and Suppliers.
  • Coordinate with Receiving/Warehouse to ensure all material deliverables are received with proper documentations and manage returns when required.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to provide guidance and advise to project teams in material management.
  • Store and file all related documentations following established policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate:

  • 2-5 years purchasing/expediting experience is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP/Oracle ERP systems, proficient in use of MS Office products such as, Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Knowledge of advanced Excel functions is preferred. 
  • Dedicated team player with well-established interpersonal and client-facing skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $60,000 - $100,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
