We are seeking an Office Manager, to join the team in our Richland, WA office.

How will you contribute to the team?  

  • Point of contact for Richland facility issues.

  • Responsible for visitor control and access at the Atkins Technology Center (ATC) including badging and escorts and works closely with Safeguards and Security Department.

  • Acts as a liaison with human resources department for the office, including onboarding and off-boarding, new hire facility orientation, and badging.

  • Acts as receptionist answering phones and greeting visitors as needed, working with others in office support groups to share this task as and when necessary.

  • Assists with scheduling for office accommodations, meetings and functions, including transportation requirements as needed.

  • Orders and stocks offices and kitchen/breakrooms supplies, monitors supplies, and office equipment inventory. Assesses needs of facility and makes recommendations in terms of office equipment, and supplies.

  • Checks and distributes mail. Responsible for shipping FedEx packages and postal mail.

  • Participating Member of the AtkinsRealis Safety Committee.

  • Collaborates with Procurement Department for arrangements of maintenance, construction, and general housekeeping.

  • Routing community outreach sponsorship programs and initiatives requests through Public Affairs for approval.

  • Assists personnel in the arrangement of business travel and preparation of their expense reports for travel and other direct costs.

  • Train to and subsequently manage government and AtkinsRéalis property in accordance with the Customer's and AtkinsRéalis’ procedures and contract requirements. Ensure processes and checklists are appropriately completed in accordance with the Customer's requirements (optional duty, if and when required).

  • Sends invoices and check requests to Accounts Payable for processing. Codes invoices and expense reports.

  • Reconciles and prepares reports.

  • Assists with and develops procedures, instructions, and forms as needed for Office Management.

  • Ensures accurate record keeping.

  • Coordinates and supervises the activities of the administrative and support staff (if support staff are required) performing functions such as performance appraisals, coordinating vacations, approving time sheets and monitoring time worked.

  • Performs other duties as assigned and mutually agreed with Supervisor.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What will you contribute?  

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 10 years administrative/clerical experience.

  • Advanced office computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of recordkeeping and accounting.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and telephone skills.

  • Ability to solve problems, and manage time efficiently.

  • Capable of organizing and supervising the activities of others (when required).

  • 5 years of Office Management experience preferred.

  • Must be a U.S citizen in order to be considered.

Expected compensation range is between $51,000 - $85,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.  

Upon acceptance of an offer, all candidates must go through a drug screen test and background check. AtkinsRéalis is a federal contractor which mandates a satisfactory background screening report and drug test that supersedes state laws.
