What inspired you to study engineering?

"I feel lucky that I come from a family of engineers, so I was very familiar with the coursework required in this field although it was curiosity that led me to nuclear engineering since it is not very well known."

What has been the most memorable or rewarding moment in your life/career to date?

"The most rewarding moment was the day of my senior design project presentation as it marked a milestone in my academic life. It was a proud moment for me as all the effort and hard work put into the year-long project was acknowledged and appreciated, especially by my mentor."

What do you do at Atkinsréalis and when did you join?

"I joined AtkinsRéalis as an intern in the Nuclear sector. My internship was over a period of 11 weeks. During this time, I supported the team with research work and prepared a few reports for current and upcoming projects."

Our nuclear team is making it possible for generations to experience the benefits of nuclear. Equipped with the latest technologies, we are striving for cleaner, more sustainable energy solutions.

What makes you proud to work here?

Priyonta's experience during her senior design project embodies the core values upheld at AtkinsRéalis.

Confronted with numerous challenges, she demonstrated resilience and teamwork, overcoming obstacles by persistently seeking solutions. Her commitment to perseverance and collaborative efforts in navigating complexities mirrors the values we uphold.
