We're not all the same and that's our greatest strength.

Like our geographical footprint here in Canada, our work is diverse. From automated light rail networks to international airports, clean power to community development. This mix of challenges, geologies and cultures requires a vast range of backgrounds and knowledge.

That’s one reason why having varied perspectives is important to us. It enhances our ability to understand our clients and communities. So we can create more sustainable and inclusive solutions.

We aim to create a more welcoming place to work, where everyone feels valued and free to share ideas regardless of background or seniority. And it’s simply the right thing to do.

Hands joined together symbolizing unity and teamwork

Putting a culture where you belong, at the heart of Canada

We’re on a journey to embed these principles into our culture and daily work. This journey is led by all of us, supporting each other to create a great place to work for all, where our identity is built on the power of unique perspectives. To help us get there faster, we’re aligned with the Company’s global program – Different makes a difference. Additionally, the Canadian region launched its own tailored action plan to address the issues that matter most to our people here.

Creating a workplace where everyone belongs

Our total reward package offers the benefits and flexibility you would expect from a global business that cares about its employees. In Canada, we offer competitive salaries, personalized savings and health programs, professional development opportunities, and flexible policies. We support our employees both at work and in their personal lives by offering flexible hours. Learn more about our rewards and benefits in Canada.

Join the Canadian team, and you join over 7,000 people from a multitude of different cultures and abilities. Our goal is to make sure that every single person feels included, has an equal voice, and that we’re sensitive to your individual needs and ambitions. You won’t just experience these values inside the organization, you’ll also inspire the world around you – through more accessible and sustainable design. Whether it’s supporting public transport with light-rail systems, offering employee resource groups like our excELLEnce program for women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), or supporting Indigenous advancement and long-term prosperity with our Indigenous E3 partnership, we’re designing places that are more sensitive to human differences – in ability, language, culture, gender, age, and other forms of diversity. We’re creating a culture where you feel you belong, empowering each individual to shine and contribute to our collective impact. We’re creating a better future, and you can help make it happen.

Removing barriers so we can all thrive

We are dedicated to creating an environment where everyone can thrive. Our initiatives focus on removing barriers and providing equal opportunities for all employees. We are partnered with local advocacy and empowerment organizations to help us improve access and inclusion of underrepresented groups in our business in Asia, raise awareness among employees, accelerate the deployment of inclusive practices, and drive industry change along with other organizations in the region committed to this mission.

Becoming a voice for change

We encourage everyone to use their voice to champion progress across Canada. From the top to the bottom, , where our identity is built on the power of unique perspectives – and we’re proud to share our stories about how design can improve lives and communities.
