During your work experience, you'll get to know us - our values, our history and what we do. It's a great insight into a potential career choice and we hope you'll come back and join one of our early career’s programmes in the future. We offer a wide variety of opportunities including apprenticeships, placements and graduate roles.

The main way to learn more about us, is via our virtual work experience programme. The programme runs on an on-going basis providing you with the flexibility to complete the programme at a time that suits you.

  • Hear inspirational talks from our young professionals and senior staff
  • Receive a certificate at the end of the programme to show that you have completed an accredited work experience programme.

No matter what background you're from or what subjects you're studying, we'd love you to enrol on to our programme. This is your chance to take the first step towards an incredible career and also to find out more about who AtkinsRéalis are.

Please note:

  • Our virtual work experience programme is open to students aged 13-19 across the UK.
  • You’ll need access to a computer, phone and internet connection.
  • You’ll need an interest in gaining an understanding of how a career in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) relates to the subjects you study.
  • You should have an interest in learning more about our industry and the different types of careers available.

On our virtual work experience programme, you’ll gain a real insight into everything that AtkinsRéalis has to offer from our initiative. You’ll also learn more about our approach to sustainability, energy, aerospace, social housing and so much more.

You’ll find out how projects are approached and managed, and you’ll try on many different hats as we take you through the multidisciplinary roles that AtkinsRéalis offers.

You’ll also have the chance to listen to industry professionals during our four webinars, as well as take part in activities and quizzes along the way.

The programme runs on an on-going basis. You’ll have access to your own portal so that you can complete the programme during a time that best suits you. However once started we do recommend for you to try and complete the modules within a 2-week window.

You’ll join the minds discovering new ways to answer the world’s biggest challenges, within one of the most respected consultancies.
