AtkinsRéalis's Minerals and Metals team in Canada is made up of more than 400 employees who work on large-scale projects to support mining sustainability, pit-to-port opportunities, metallurgical plant engineering, or mine closure and capabilities in the study, design, and construction of mining projects across a wide range of mining and processing methods and commodities. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our North America Minerals & Metals (M&M) team and to support our growth to align with the demand to supply responsibly sourced critical minerals. Candidate must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, and be a highly organized, self-starter, with clear and proven initiative.
This opportunity will be to support the M&M business located in Toronto, ON.
Your role
- Travel arrangements for turnarounds and visitors as well as 3rd party visitors.
- Assistance with site lodging and accommodations for EPCM team.
- General administrative support.
- IT Coordination, as well as home office support for IT equipment including printers/plotters and mobilization/demobilization of equipment to and from home office.
- Coordination with clients, provide support to clients and M&M team to ensure policies and procedures are integrated with SNC-Lavalin's for seamless day to day operations.
- Provide diverse administrative support to all disciplines and leads.
- Support, development, and issue of weekly and monthly client an internal report.

About you
- 5+ years of experience in administrative roles, with a preference for experience in handling confidential information.
- Certificate in Business Administration preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on interpersonal abilities. Proven self-starter capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $52,000 - $65,000 annually) (Only Applicable to British Columbia). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
