Overview
The M&E group provides mechanical and electrical design for all types of buildings such as Hospitals, Long Term Care facilities, Universities, Colleges, Institutional, Recreational, Commercial, Light Industrial market. Our clients and projects are varied and diverse. The office is a high energy workspace where we work closely as a team to meet the requirements and deadlines of our clients.
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled BIM Coordinator with 5 to 10 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines to join our multidisciplinary team. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a key role in the coordination and execution of BIM processes across mechanical and electrical projects. This position can be based out of either Vancouver, Calgary or Winnipeg.
Your role
- Overseeing the implementation of BIM workflows specific to mechanical and electrical disciplines within multidisciplinary projects.
- Creating and managing 3D models using Revit.
- Ensuring compliance with drawing and modeling standards.
- Providing technical support to modelers and junior staff.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of BIM processes.
- Assembling 3D models in accordance with BIM Execution Plans.
- Supporting clash detection efforts and coordinating issue resolution with the Lead BIM Coordinator.
- Assisting the Discipline BIM Manager in applying BIM use cases across projects.

About you
- College degree in Building Mechanics or Building electricity or equivalent technical diploma.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in BIM for mechanical/electrical systems.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and Navisworks.
- Proficiency with Revizto is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with standard ISO19650 is considered an asset.
- Solid technical knowledge in component sizing, equipment selection, and project workflows.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); French proficiency is considered an asset.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $71 520 to $98 340 annually (Only Applicable to British Columbia). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
