Overview
We are seeking a building mechanical draftsperson to join our mechanical team as a 2D/3D Technician. In this role, you will work closely with the mechanical engineering team on projects within the Hydropower and Geotechnical sectors, with a particular focus on Hydroelectric projects.
Your involvement will span all phases of the project cycle: from initiation and planning through design and construction.
This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a wide range of challenging and technically diverse projects in a collaborative and innovative work environment
Your role
Participate in the design of mechanical systems required for hydroelectric projects, such as HVAC and piping systems;
Perform 3D modeling and prepare 2D drawings;
Ensure compliance with drafting and modeling standards;
Contribute ideas to improve work methods;
Provide technical support during construction as needed;
Perform any other related tasks as required.

About you
Technical diploma in mechanical engineering, building mechanics, or equivalent.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in design and technical drafting in building mechanics.
Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of Inventor, CATIA, Solidworks (asset).
Demonstrated rigor, precision, and autonomy in your tasks.
Team player with effective communication skills.
Fluent in French (spoken and written) and knowledge of English (asset).
