Overview
AtkinsRéalis' Major Projects division is in search of a Co-Operative Student to join a transformative transit infrastructure project in Toronto. The Co-Operative Student role will be part of a high-performing project team that is dedicated to delivering this complex undertaking through collaboration and a best-for-project vision.
The role will report to the Construction Management Team.
Your role
- Review proposals/specifications and drawings.
- Maintain document tracking logs and technical documentation.
- Develop and maintain excel spreadsheets and graphs.
- Data monitoring and interpretation.
- Site visits and inspections.
- Assist engineers on design, method statements, and risk assessments.

About you
- 2nd or 3rd year in Civil Engineering and enrolled in Civil Engineering Co-op Program from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Knowledgeable in scheduling.
- Available for 8 months starting Summer 2026
- Able to read and understand project specifications and engineering drawings.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Bluebeam is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong work ethic and highly motivated.
- The ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
