Overview
The Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the team in the collection, analysis and reporting of consolidated resource forecasts for Candu Energy Inc. The Data Analyst will be the central point of contact for the People Forecasting and Levelling (PFL) initiative and will regularly interface with staff from Project Controls, Project Managers, Resource Managers, Marketing and Business Development staff, and Engineering Tools in the delivery of regular resource forecasts, analysis, and presentations to senior management. Resource forecasts for Candu are centralized in a software application and the reports are generated through Power BI.
Your role
- University graduate in Engineering, Commerce, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Systems or related fields.
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
- Working knowledge of Power BI.
- Knowledge of software application development would be an asset.
- Detail oriented, with excellent mathematical and analytical skills, including the ability to analyze large volumes of data and summarize results.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a results oriented approach.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills required to support and explain the results of analysis and recommendations, and to lead meetings with management teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
