Your role

As an EBS Functional Analyst (PPM) you will:

  • Gather and document business requirements collaborating with process owners to translate needs into clear functional specifications.

  • Proactively identify and investigate recurring Oracle EBS issues, analyzing trends and root causes to reduce repeat incidents and improve system reliability.

  • Develops and presents clear, actionable recommendations, proposing effective and innovative solutions that address underlying causes and deliver measurable improvements.

  • Contributes to reduced rework and support effort, helping prevent future occurrences of known issues and supporting a more stable, efficient service for end users.

  • Collaborate with the Support Team to provide support and guidance on complex issues on Oracle Projects (PPM) and Accounts Receivables production issues and collaborate with the other SME`s to provide insight into PPM and AR processes.

  • Configure standard Oracle E Business Suite (R12) Projects functionality, with a focus on Project Portfolio Management (PPM), including Project Management, Project Costing, Project Billing and Accounts Receivables.

  • Cross-functional collaboration with developers, DBAs, SMEs, and business users to deliver stable, scalable solutions and drive continuous improvement.

  • Build and execute test plans and scripts for patches, upgrades, and enhancements impacting PPM and AR, ensuring appropriate coverage, quality outcomes, and readiness for release.

  • Maintain high‑quality project and system documentation (e.g. BR100, MD50, configuration workbooks), Data validation and reconciliation support.

About you

Experience & Skills

  • 6+ years of hands‑on functional experience with Oracle E‑Business Suite R12, primarily in Projects / PPM (Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Management) and Accounts Receivable.

  • Good understanding of PPM and AR Modules with detailed knowledge of interactions between related modules, including project invoicing, revenue recognition, and end‑to‑end accounting flows (PA → AR → GL), with the ability to troubleshoot cross‑module issues.

  • Solid working knowledge of core Oracle EBS modules, enabling effective analysis of functional flows, configurations, and inter‑module dependencies.

  • Ability to gather and document functional requirements, by collaborating with business users and translating needs into functional specifications.

  • Hands‑on experience with system configuration and testing.

  • Functional troubleshooting and support capability on medium to complex functional problems.

  • Proficiency with documentation and change management practices.

  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability, applying appropriate decision‑making authority to deliver effective end‑to‑end functional solutions within role scope.

  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams.

  • Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL for troubleshooting (log analysis, data validation, interface monitoring).

  • Previous experience of third-part Project Management (EcoSys) and CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) solutions and integrations with Oracle EBS would be an advantage.

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Economics, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Fluent English & Romanian required, French an advantage.
