Manager, Communications and Marketing, Canada

Montréal, Quebec, Canada

Overview

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, working within a talented global team and collaborating with professionals from multiple disciplines — including engineering — who are helping transform the Canadian landscape across key sectors such as energy, defence, transportation, infrastructure, as well as operations and maintenance.

Join our Communications and Marketing team in Canada. We work on a wide range of Canadian projects to create lasting impact in the communities we serve, support the growth of our business, and help build a better future for our planet.

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Manager, Communications and Marketing, Canada.

Reporting to the Vice-President, Communications and Marketing, Canada, you will play a central role in the orchestration, prioritization, and coordination of communications and marketing activities across the region, acting as a strategic and operational interface between business priorities, the Canada leadership team, and centres of expertise, while leveraging strong business acumen and a deep understanding of regional priorities to help structure, align, and integrate communications and marketing initiatives.

You will ensure that plans developed by various teams are coherent, aligned with business objectives, and designed with an integrated approach — from strategic thinking through to execution.

You will work closely and collaboratively with the centres of expertise to mobilize and coordinate the capabilities required to deliver regional priorities.

You will serve as a key advisor to the Vice-President, Communications and Marketing, Canada, ensuring follow-up on priorities, requests, and leadership team initiatives. You will bring a cross-functional perspective that considers business, reputation, client relations, and employee experience.

You will also act as an operational driver for the function, ensuring priorities are well structured, deliverables are progressing at the expected pace, and stakeholders have clear visibility on the advancement of initiatives. You will establish and maintain governance tools such as dashboards, editorial calendars, activities tracker, and coordination mechanisms to ensure alignment, disciplined execution, and high-quality deliverables.

As a member of the Global Communications and Marketing team, you will also contribute to the alignment between global priorities and regional needs, supporting the adaptation and deployment of initiatives as required.

Your role

  • Act as a strategic and operational interface between the Vice-President, Communications and Marketing, Canada, business units, market leaders across Canada and communications and marketing centres of expertise.
  • Ensure structured follow-up on regional priorities, maintaining a clear, consolidated view of initiatives, timelines, and interdependencies.
  • Stay attuned to the evolving business needs across the country, identifying relevant communications and marketing opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development, coordination, and evolution of integrated communications and marketing plans, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives, and cross-functional integration.
  • Establish and maintain governance and performance tools (dashboards, key performance indicators, editorial calendars, project tracking) to ensure visibility and execution discipline.
  • Monitor, analyze, and support the evaluation of communications and marketing performance, aligned with defined objectives and metrics.
  • Mobilize and coordinate centres of expertise around regional priorities, fostering alignment and seamless execution in a matrix environment.
  • Support the Vice-President in the preparation, follow-up, and advancement of strategic initiatives, including contributions to planning exercises and annual regional priorities.
  • Build trusted relationships with business units and market leaders to anticipate issues and support the implementation of relevant initiatives.
  • Contribute, as needed, to the development or coordination of high-value strategic content and tools.
