Overview

The [Concession TA Lead] – [Water] shall play an essential role in ensuring the overall success of the [Water]. Working collaboratively with the [Senior Director/Market Director] – [Water], Client Leads and other Water Management, they shall actively contribute to the performance of the Water from a revenue and EBIT perspective as outlined within the Water's'yearly targets.

Your role

  • Leading the delivery of key TA appointments providing World Leading advice on PPP solutions and Concession delivery in the Region.
  • Supporting/Leading/Overseeing win work, bidding and client management activities on behalf of the Water, or a specific area of the Water.
  • Supporting/Leading/Overseeing project teams to deliver best-in-class deliverables for clients and projects within the Concession TA space for [Water].
  • Assisting/Overseeing/Managing a specific area of the Water, or key Client Leads.
  • Providing day-to-day support to ensure the Water runs smoothly including but not limited to strategy, client management, win work, project delivery, resource management and governance.

The various measurable aspects to this role and associated KPI's'are as follows:

  • Water Strategy – Water performance aligned with LRP, Business Plan and proposed targets specific to [Water]. This includes supporting the [Senior Director/Market Director] – [Water] in achieving targets for P&L, EBIT and Headcount.
  • LRP & business plans – Facilitate the delivery and management of the [Water] business and LRP strategy. Provide monthly updates on progress against defined targets (Clients, EBIT, Revenue etc.).
  • Future Business Plan development – Assist in developing, drafting, gaining necessary approvals and implementing short, medium and long-term business plans for the Water.
  • Win Work Regional Bid Performance – Support the Water in achieving commission win rate of min 30% on bids submitted in line with the LRP target areas.
  • Account Management & Strategy – Achieve performance targets for a group of Client accounts, as aligned with the Water, LRP and Business Plan, or support several Client Leads with the day-to-day management of their accounts. This includes achieving targets for P&L, revenue and account growth.
  • Business Development (cross selling) – Advise the [Senior Director/Market Director] on strategies for identifying new clients and or Water opportunities – both for the [Water] Water and holistically for AtkinsRéalis.
  • Technical Excellence – As required by the Water [Senior Director/Market Director], assist Project teams to deliver best-in-class deliverables for a specific Client, commission or project.
  • Resource Demand – Assist in the management of resources specific to the Water providing leadership in recruitment, retention and performance. Ensure resource is managed in line with the Overhead budget as provided during the business planning cycle. Support the strategic resource demand planning of Capability resources for cross business allocation.
  • Resource Management – Support the development of talent including delivery of 9-box grid, succession plans and training identification for the [Water] Water (supported by Capabilities).
  • Leadership & Vision (Accountable, Inspiring, Inclusive, Collaborative & Integrity) – Provide leadership and demonstrate positive AtkinsRéalis behaviours with performance defined by team feedback through pulse surveys and other feedback avenues (as prescribed by HR).
  • Nationalization targets – Responsible for achieving required contribution to Nationalisation targets to ensure continued business operations and ICV (In Country Value).

About you

  • Must have strong business management and operational delivery skills and be able to drive successful delivery, expert advisory and profitable growth for AtkinsRéalis across our Middle East business.
  • Proven track record of delivering Technical Advisory and Transaction Advisory projects to clients within the Utilities environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex consultancy projects to demanding clients based in KSA and UAE.
  • Profit & Loss management capabilities.
  • Provide oversight and lead fee proposals and ensure fee proposals are competitive and profitable based on their extensive experience.
  • Regional SME (subject matter expert) for PPP and Concessions in [Water].
  • Extensive experience delivering projects within the [Water], preferably in the Middle East.
  • Proven and strong client network in the [Water] Water across the GCC.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • [Water] and Business Development knowledge.
  • Represent the business at functions selling our expertise and Water knowledge.
  • Mentor for top talent.
  • Direct experience in supporting the management of a successful P&L.
  • Background in [Water] – preferably client experience.
  • Degree in a related discipline and/or Minimum 10-15 years' experience.
