Overview
Your role
Under the supervision of the Climate Resilience, Sustainability, Air and Acoustics Director, your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead or participate to climate resilience assessments for infrastructure, industrial, transportation, and institutional projects.
- Develop climate change adaptation plans, based on vulnerability identification, risk assessment, and probability analysis.
- Analyze historical and projected climate data to support resilience planning.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations.
- Develop service proposals and respond to client requests.
- Participate in business development activities within the climate resilience field.
- Manage projects from planning through delivery.

About you
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with strong foundational knowledge of climate risk assessment and adaptation planning.
- 8+ years of progressive experience delivering climate resilience or climate adaptation projects.
- Knowledge of PIEVC protocol (or certification) and its application to infrastructure climate risk assessments.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze historical and projected climate data, interpret climate models and datasets (e.g., IDF curves, downscaled climate projections), and translate findings into actionable resilience recommendations.
- Knowledge of federal, provincial, and municipal frameworks and regulations related to climate resilience, climate adaptation planning, and infrastructure risk management.
- Proven ability to prepare high-quality technical reports, synthesize complex data, and clearly communicate adaptation strategies and recommendations to clients and non-technical audiences.
- Experience preparing competitive proposals, supporting business development, and identifying new opportunities within the climate resilience market, applying strong resourcefulness to meet client needs and tailor solutions.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $75,600 - $104,000 annually) (Only Applicable to British Columbia). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
