Regional Learning and Talent Development Partner - APAC

Job Description

Overview

Develop and sustain a learning ecosystem for the APAC organization through the execution of appropriate Learning and Talent Development. Thereby proactively supporting the organization in delivering their growth plan.

Your role

Responsibilities:

As the Regional L&TD Partner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with HR and the business to support the delivery of the L&TD priorities for India and the wider APAC region including managing the global programs for the region. These could include, but is not limited to our Graduate programs, Leadership programs, Annual People Processes etc.
  • Developing a learning culture and awareness of L&TD initiatives in the organization. Incumbent will be expected to collaborate with the L&TD operations team and manage end-to-end deployment and evaluation of facilitator and program effectiveness.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations with the requisite specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise, business context and recommended industry best practices.
  • Adopt a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions, ensure they are outcome oriented and challenge the status quo. Design and lead regional initiatives to promote the agenda.
  • Manage, create or curate bespoke interventions that are aligned with the organisation's'objectives and embed key principles around budget and cost optimization, diversity and inclusion.
  • Ensure deployment of appropriate training techniques and tools including e-learning, in-person/ virtual and embrace any current or future trends.
  • Build and maintain relationships with international and regionally based internal and external L&D partners.
  • Contribute to/lead Global L&TD projects and collaborate closely with the global L&TD team (across different time zones).

HSE And Quality Responsibilities:

  • Maintain standards of HSE and comply with Company's'Health, Safety & Environment Management System requirements.
  • Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
  • Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.

About you

  • Post Graduate degree preferrable in HR
  • Additional certifications in L&TD will be an advantage
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Good program/project management skills and detail oriented
  • Prior work experience in multi-nationals regions would be an advantage
  • Experience in facilitating, content design and delivery, understanding Training styles and experience working on Learning platforms
  • 15 + years' work experience, with at least 6 years as an L&D/Talent specialist role.
  • Open to work from office all days of the week (with limited hybrid option), mobile and open to travel within India or APAC
  • Highly motivated with ability to work independently
  • Results oriented.
  • Self-starter.
  • Resourceful and Innovative
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
  • Confidence partnering with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work and deliver under pressure.
  • Adaptability to change.
  • Competent in MS Office, especially MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Experience working on
  • Workday, Teams and various facilitation tools will be an advantage.
  • Role is based in Bangalore with possible travel to our other local / international offices.
