Our collaborative and multi-disciplinary team is one of the largest in the UK, providing water and wastewater infrastructure services alongside drainage design, SuDS and surface water management. Our wide variety of clients span across the UK and internationally and include water companies, local authorities, highways / rail authorities, and developers.

It's'an exciting time to be working for our UK Water business with unprecedented investment in the water industry. Due to continued framework successes, we seek to recruit a Senior Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join our Wastewater Team in Bristol/ Cardiff to lead one of our hydraulic modelling frameworks, with a leading UK Water Company.

We aren't just engineers, environmental professionals, or consultants. We're pioneers, constantly innovating and pushing boundaries to tackle some of the world's most pressing challenges – especially when it comes to water. From enhancing our beautiful rivers and urban landscapes to building sustainable cities in the harshest environments – our Networks & Drainage Solutions (N&DS) team is at the forefront.

Over the next 10 years, we plan to expand the practice rapidly to meet our clients' objectives. We're developing enhanced training courses to accelerate our staff resource capability. It means great futures for both new and experienced colleagues.

Your role

  • Supporting with leading Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plan, flood alleviation and environmental solution development projects.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions.
  • Responsible for the quality of outputs and compliance with standards & specifications.
  • Ability to manage and/or support project managers, to manage projects and programmes of works.
  • Support in the development of tender responses and fee estimates.
  • Supervising and developing staff and providing guidance to support their professional development.
  • Contributing towards technical innovation.

  • Understanding of UK Water Industry and regulatory issues.
  • Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects.
  • Expertise using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
  • Experience in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning and solution development.
  • Ability to check the work of others to provide quality assurance and drive continuous improvement in work delivered to the client.
