Project manager

Working within our Nuclear and Power business sector, as a project manager you will work with teams to enable the delivery of AtkinsRéalis technical design and engineering projects. 

In this role, you'll quickly and easily establish a rapport and build relationships with others, using this to delight our clients and help win new or repeat work. If you enjoy thinking ahead, anticipating and preventing project problems before they happen, this could be the role for you.

Electrical engineer

As an electrical engineer, you'll be working on the design, optioneering, analysis and assessment of electrical systems, which can be stand-alone technical tasks or part of large multi-disciplinary projects. 

You will also support multi-disciplinary designs in conjunction with our mechanical, process and civil engineers.

You'll be client-focused – being able to interface with clients, understand their needs and convert opportunities into successful workstreams. 

Nuclear safety engineer

Our nuclear safety engineers deliver innovative consultancy advice to support our clients through the completion of safety assessments, engineering/design substantiation and operational support.

In this role, you'll enjoy addressing interesting problems in safety-critical systems through the production of nuclear safety cases, engineering substantiation, system design and operational support to nuclear facilities. This requires attention to detail as well as strong interpersonal skills. 

Mechanical engineer

Within this role, you will deliver engineering design solutions throughout the full design lifecycle, including the preparation of 2D drawings, 3D models, hand calculations, finite element analysis and supporting technical documentation. 

To succeed in this role, you will possess a good understanding of engineering principles and various technical, safety and legislative documentation, such as risk assessments, CDM regulations, method statements, UKCA Technical Files, etc.
