Hello, I'm Jasmine, a graduate project manager in the Project & Programme Services team. I oversee projects by managing schedules, budgets, and key milestones. I also collaborate with my colleagues to identify risks, develop solutions, and engage with stakeholders.
What has been your favorite experience?
From early into my graduate scheme, I've been able to take charge of a project (supported by a more senior project manager), lead weekly progress meetings, and directly liaise with the client and contractors. This is one of my favorite experiences because I did not think I could have this much responsibility at the beginning of my career.
What is the best thing about working for AtkinsRéalis?
That I've been immersed in projects from day one of my graduate scheme.
What is your top tip for new graduates?
While it might sound like an obvious answer, my tip would be to ask questions. Everyone I've worked with is happy to help or put me in contact with those who have the expertise/experience for your query.
How has your graduate role at AtkinsRéalis helped you grow?
It has developed my understanding of the construction and property industries. My confidence in this knowledge has increased month by month, allowing me to share my ideas and take charge on projects.
How has the environment at AtkinsRéalis affected your graduate experience?
We have a culture of continuous learning. So, AtkinsRéalis has supported me in undertaking a part-time Master's in Construction Engineering. This has allowed me to learn the fundamentals that will transfer to the skills needed in my graduate role.
