One project that stands out is a significant Middle East airport development, which marked an important milestone for both Ragavendran and his team. It was their first LOD 350 delivery and the first airport project undertaken by the team in many years within the Middle East portfolio. With a new team, a new client, and high expectations, the project was at the epicentre of a lot of things. Yet through clear communication, structured workflows, and collective ownership, the team successfully delivered a zero‑clash coordinated BIM model at LOD 350. For Ragavendran, the achievement went beyond technical success. "Success is never individual. It comes from people working together, supporting one another, and staying focused on a common goal." The project not only earned client appreciation but also helped establish stronger BIM coordination standards, creating lasting value for future projects and teams.

A key part of Ragavendran’s experience has been collaborating with colleagues across India, the Middle East, and Egypt. Over time, these experiences shifted his mindset from simply completing tasks to understanding how teams can deliver more effectively together.

Ragavendran’s journey from Associate Lead Designer to Technical Manager reflects the opportunities available to those willing to learn and take ownership. Alongside project delivery, he has contributed to training initiatives, mentoring colleagues, process improvements, and team development efforts. Opportunities such as representing the Middle East team and leading structured learning programs broadened his perspective beyond his day‑to‑day role.
