Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and contribute to geotechnical investigations and assessments.

  • Undertake geotechnical assessments using specialized softwares such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, PLAXIS 2D and 3D, Pdisp, Repute and Wallap.

  • Understand materials testing objectives, construction drawings and design reports to support geotechnical investigation and design recommendations.

  • Provide guidance and troubleshooting for quality control testing and performance of materials such as soil and concrete.

  • Contribute to the development of project proposals/cost estimates and participate in the process of securing new business opportunities or expanding the scope of existing projects.

  • Analyze and prepare recommendations and reports for projects relating to foundation design, infrastructure, shoring, retaining walls, slope stability, road structure design, materials testing, and other geotechnical related projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.

  • 6 years Work experience as a Geotechnical Engineer within middle east.

  • Registered with ICE as chartered engineer is preferred.

  • Demonstrates organization, team collaboration, proposal and technical writing skills, and excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Geotechnical engineering software.

  • Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.

  • Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
