Our Organization Excellence team help clients with their organisational challenges to support in the delivery of their strategic plans and corporate visions within the built environment. We achieve this through providing support across the following core areas:

  • Strategy and Operating Model Design

  • Organization Governance and Control

  • Process Improvement

  • People and Organization Development

  • Change Management and Business readiness

We are currently looking for Senior Consultant level candidates to join our expanding Organization Excellence team with experience from Consulting firms, who demonstrate a real passion and interest for the built environment. You will have the opportunity to support in the business within multiple sectors (both public and private) across the MEA region.

Position Summary

Your key focus will be to support on day-to-day activity on our engagements, building our Organization Excellence business and developing the team. The role is based in KSA and may require travel.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Support in any business development activities including the preparation of bids, pricing and content development

  • Work within both traditional and agile project environments with high degree of ambiguity and a track record of high-quality delivery.

  • Steer project execution to deliver agreed upon service aligned with client expectations.

  • Support the Project Manager in delivering quality deliverables for our clients.

  • Support in stakeholder engagement and presentations to clients

  • Build strong internal relationships across the AtkinsRéalis business.

  • Work together with our technical advisors, engineers, planners, commercial consultants to bring integrated offerings to our clients.

Education

  • Educated to Degree qualified level or equivalent qualification or experience, degree in Business Management or other related fields is preferable.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

  • Overall experience:

    • 7+ years experience in successfully managing a Project Management Office

    • Experience delivering complex and critical IT solutions

    • Experience working within complex ICT environments

    • Overseeing the integration of multiple IT system as part of the overall project delivery

    • Formal project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, PMBOK, etc.

    • Developing and implementing the PMO strategy and establishing PMO governance frameworks

    • Providing strategic advice, communicating effectively and collaborating with project teams, stakeholders and senior management

    • Defining and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of the project delivery

    • Implementing project management methodologies, tools and best practices across the organisation

    • Providing guidance and support to project managers on using appropriate methodologies

    • Overseeing project resource allocation and capacity planning and coordinating with project sponsors and functional managers on the skilled resources

    • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and developing programs and strategies to manage risks and issues

    • Ensuring quality assurance and compliance and establishing processes to address quality issues and enhance project outcomes

    • Identifying and leading continuous improvement initiatives with the PMO team

Technical Competencies

  • Strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Basic understanding of Project management including:

    • Risk Management

    • Schedule Management

    • Resource Management

  • Ability to analyse data and deliver insightful practical solutions;

  • Utilize both qualitative and quantitative analysis to solve business problems;

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting complex projects or initiatives aimed at improving business processes and performance.

  • Familiarity with business excellence frameworks such as Six Sigma, Lean Management, or Total Quality Management, and their application in the real estate context.
