As a Senior Lead - HR Workday Enhancement and Project Management in our Bangalore-based HR Shared Services Centre, you’ll be an integral part of delivering an exceptional HR customer experience. Your main responsibilities in Workday team will include global HR system enhancement project management, business analysis & documentation, technical and functional leadership, data conversion, testing, and ongoing system support.

Key responsibilities:

  • HR Systems
  • Manage the ongoing maintenance and updates of HR systems, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to address technical issues and integration requirements.

Project Management:

  • Develop and execute project plans for HR technology initiatives, ensuring timelines, and quality standards are met.
  • Identify risks and mitigation strategies, keeping projects on track and within scope.
  • Effectively communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand the system (HR data) and able to present that to the stakeholders.
  • Create business justification based on the available data, analyse the business problem and determine who needs to take an action.
  • Impact analysis of the project been undertaken.

HR Process Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize HR processes through technology solutions.
  • Work closely with HR teams to understand their needs and implement solutions that enhance productivity.
  • Identify the new Workday enhancements, functionalities, and Integration opportunities.
  • Identify system gaps for Global as well as regional processes.
  • Provide recommendations based on System Integration analysis.
  • Project Management of identified enhancement & discussion with the stakeholders.
  • Streamline the process across regions, share the best practices and try to minimise the exceptions in the process.
  • Manage the HR applications improvement portfolio working closely with the application owners and IT.
  • Creating Test cases for the teams to manage UAT.
  • Impact & Risk Assessment.
  • Technical and Functional Leadership.
  • Documentation & taking affirmative decisions.
  • Prioritizing projects based on the impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of [8] years of experience in HR systems and technology management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading HR technology projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong technical skills with expertise in HRIS, HCM, ATS, and other HR-related software.
  • Experience in Transformation, System improvement projects etc.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
