In North Carolina, we’re helping create smarter transportation infrastructure to withstand imminent weather challenges and disruption. We’re also helping cities rebuild after natural disasters, creating a better version of their communities and focusing on protecting life and property. Employee Resource Groups

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups formed based on a particular trait or interest of group members. ERGs are designed to help foster a culture where everyone belongs, bringing people together to focus on actions and initiatives for that group, such as networking, professional development, raising awareness, and building support within the AtkinsRéalis community.

The STAND mission is to cultivate a workplace where everyone belongs by providing an open community for all employees that celebrates Black and African American culture and history, raises awareness of social issues, fosters education, and creates pathways for open career advancement and community outreach.

The Compass mission is to increase awareness and support through connection and understanding of Veterans.

The mission of the EPN is to create an open community that supports emerging professionals and all employees who, through continued education and overall engagement, create and foster a culture of excellence.

For 20 years, The AtkinsRéalis Foundation serves as an employee-funded asset that is doubled by corporate matching in the US. Collectively we invested $169k in 2024 to inspire science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers in young minds and help the dreams of many aspiring scholars become a reality by:

Grants Program: The Foundation awards charitable grants to organizations that provide science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education in underserved communities.

Scholarship Program: The Foundation awards scholarships, providing financial aid to students from underserved communities pursuing engineering or related degrees at all colleges and universities across the US.
