Overview
We are seeking for an Apprentice role to join our team in Safina, Bangalore office.
Your role
- Work as part of the AtkinsRéalis Water Management Consultancy (WMC) team.
- Work on a range of projects relating to water quality modelling for rivers, lakes, estuarine and coastal environment.
- Work to high standards, ensuring the right first-time delivery.
- Ownership of the work of self.
- Contribute to technical discussions/meetings positively through knowledge sharing.
About you
- Candidates should have a clear and demonstrable technical understanding of water quality, and related issues, including hydraulics and hydrology.
- Candidates should have strong data and statistical analysis capabilities.
Essential qualifications:
- Master's degree in civil engineering/water resource/environmental engineering from a recognised University.
- Demonstrable knowledge of hydraulics as part of academic projects.
- Experience in using design or hydraulic modelling software for academic projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) e.g. MapInfo, ArcGIS or QGIS is preferred.
- Good report writing skills and fluency in English.
Desired qualifications:
- Value addition through innovations and automation in project delivery.
- Programming capabilities on Python/R/SPSS/Matlab/C/C++.
- Capability to incorporate AI into the day to day work.
