Architect / Solution Architect – Digital Workplace Services

Chennai, Tamil Nādu, India

We are seeking an expert (Hand-on) to lead our Microsoft 365 and Digital Workplace strategy, operations, and innovation. You'll oversee M365 implementation, administration, and optimization including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and related services while ensuring endpoints are secure, reliable, and productive. This role also owns corporate laptops and mobility catalogs, including setting strategy and hardware standards that align with business needs and lifecycle best practices.

What will you do?

• Lead / Design, implementation, and operations of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, etc.).
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of M365 admins and endpoint professionals.
• Develop and execute the M365 and endpoint strategy aligned to business goals.
• Oversee administration, configuration, governance, and security of all M365& Digital workplace services.
• Own and manage the enterprise laptop/endpoint catalog for Windows and macOS.
• Define baseline configurations with security layer (endpoint protection, disk encryption, patch management, etc.).
• Develop and execute the company's mobile strategy, balancing productivity with enterprise security.
• Define and operationalize the corporate mobile software stack (MDM, MAM, secure communications, and productivity apps).
• Lead and manage Active Directory, Azure AD, DHCP.
• Vendor/OEM coordination and management.
• Manage Incident/ Change request aligned with ITIL process.
• Create and maintain weekly/Monthly reports related to your tower.
• Maintain the KPI/SLA.
• Manage escalations for Digital Workplace Engineering

Experience, Education and other Required:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 15+ years in IT with 5+ years in experience managing a team.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale M365 solutions.
• Experience in Designing, planning and executing M365 migrations
• Deep expertise in Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, DHCP and Azure AD.
• Background in mobility strategy, MDM platforms, and mobile application security.
• Advanced PowerShell skills for M365 automation and reporting.
• Experience defining and managing corporate device standards (Windows, macOS)
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate data security risks.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with IT, legal, and business stakeholders.
• Experience in both technical and managerial roles.
• Microsoft certifications in M365 or endpoint management.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies
