Based in Glasgow, this senior leadership position is responsible for ensuring the effective management and strategic delivery of multiple complex projects, as well as fostering robust stakeholder relationships both within the organisation and with our clients.
As Portfolio Director, you will provide direction for Linxon's major programmes in Scotland, overseeing planning, coordination, and execution. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all Linxon programmes in Scotland, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, executive management, and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and programme outcomes.
• Represent Linxon at senior stakeholder meetings, industry forums, and client engagements.
• Collaborate closely with internal operations teams to identify and resolve project execution challenges, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
Experience Required:
• Significant experience in senior portfolio or programme management roles within the electrical infrastructure sector, with proven expertise in high-voltage substations.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Strong track record of successful delivery of complex programmes, ideally in a senior director capacity.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline; a master's degree or equivalent senior qualification is highly desirable.
