How will you make your impact?

As a Pre-Construction Intern with Linxon you will support the planning and preparation activities required for successful project execution before construction begins. This role works closely with project managers, construction leaders, engineering teams, and procurement professionals to develop site mobilization plans, construction readiness strategies, and execution processes that enable a smooth transition from planning into field operations.

This internship provides valuable exposure to project delivery, construction planning, and infrastructure development within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing comprehensive site mobilization and construction readiness plans.
• Support project teams in reviewing project scope, schedules, resources, and execution requirements.
• Help coordinate pre-construction activities between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Participate in project planning meetings and assist with action item tracking.
• Support logistics planning, material delivery coordination, and workforce readiness efforts.
• Assist in preparing construction work packages, procedures, and project documentation.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules to support readiness planning.
• Help identify potential risks and constraints before field execution begins.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance project planning and execution efficiency.
• Support safety, quality, and operational excellence objectives throughout project development.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Interest in construction, infrastructure, and project execution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
