How will you make your impact?

As a Site Manager with Linxon, you will take full command of all on‑site operations from groundbreaking through grid connection, ensuring the seamless and cost‑effective execution of solar and battery‑storage projects. You will lead the field with ownership and urgency, coordinating cross‑functional teams and managing subcontractors to deliver every project safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Acting as the critical on‑the‑ground link between engineering, procurement, and construction, you will drive progress across start‑up, construction, erection, commissioning, and maintenance phases while resolving issues in real time to prevent delays and protect project performance. Through disciplined oversight, proactive problem‑solving, and steadfast commitment to safety and excellence, you will ensure each project achieves its operational and commercial objectives.

What will you do?

  • Lead construction of new and upgraded high‑voltage substations from site mobilization through commissioning and energization.

  • Oversee contractor construction and maintenance activities in accordance with project documents, engineering standards, utility requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed construction schedules; track milestones and proactively identify and mitigate potential delays.

  • Coordinate material logistics, including procurement status, inventory management, and delivery to job sites to support uninterrupted construction.

  • Enforce OSHA regulations, utility safety policies, and environmental requirements, ensuring a safe working environment on active high‑voltage job sites.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate job‑site hazards; ensure safe work practices around energized electrical equipment.

  • Review engineering designs, drawings, and construction documents to validate constructability, quality, and schedule alignment.

  • Perform routine field inspections, maintain QA/QC documentation, and verify contractor workmanship and material compliance.

  • Ensure all construction activities comply with NEC, NESC, utility standards, and project specifications.

  • Serve as the primary on‑site point of contact for clients, engineers, EPC partners, vendors, and local authorities.

  • Lead construction and coordination meetings; communicate safety concerns, schedule impacts, design deviations, and material issues.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and safety leadership to support efficient and coordinated project execution.

  • Supervise and guide field crews and subcontractors, providing direction, coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.

  • Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges that impact safety, schedule, cost, or quality.

Who you are?

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field — or you bring equivalent hands‑on project experience.

  • You have 10–15 years of experience managing high‑voltage substation construction projects from site preparation through energization.

  • You are skilled in interpreting electrical schematics, one‑line diagrams, civil/structural drawings, and substation equipment layouts.

  • You are familiar with NEC, NFPA, and industry standards governing high‑voltage construction and electrical safety.

  • You use construction scheduling tools and cost‑management systems to maintain control of project timelines and budgets.

  • You lead diverse crews, subcontractors, and field personnel with clarity, accountability, and a focus on results.

  • You communicate effectively with clients, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders at all levels.

  • You excel at analyzing issues, solving problems proactively, and keeping project teams aligned and moving forward.
