Why AtkinsRéalis ranks among Peru's Top 10 internship experiences

What sets us apart: Why AtkinsRéalis has one of Peru's top internships to start your career

Looking back on our 2024 internship cycle, I am proud to have been part of one of the best places for young people to begin their careers. I'm Roxana, the Human Resources Manager here at AtkinsRéalis in Peru. Every day, I see our interns working as true members of our project teams, and I know how deeply we care about creating a supportive and high-quality environment where they can truly learn, grow, and feel valued.

Why AtkinsRéalis ranks among Peru's Top 10 internship experiences

Why AtkinsRéalis is recognized among Peru's top internships in Peru

So, how did this recognition come about? We were part of the Best Internship Experiences (BIE) survey run by FirstJob – a Chilean data company focused on improving the quality of life for young professionals across the region. The BIE study helps companies understand what really matters to interns entering the job market: from learning and development opportunities to a positive work environment, supportive infrastructure, great benefits, and talented teams to learn from.

How our internship ticks all the boxes interns care about

What did the interns have to say? More than 1,900 interns from 56 companies across 15 countries – including Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay, and Central America – took part in the Best Internship Experiences (BIE) study. Twenty-two of our own interns helped us secure 9th place overall. Their feedback showed exactly what truly matters to them:

  • Structured learning and development – hands-on training that boosts your skills
  • A respected company with real impact – knowing your work matters
  • A supportive, people-first culture – where you're valued and belong

I'm happy to say these are the things we work hard to offer every day. At AtkinsRéalis, you'll find real opportunities to grow and thrive at every stage of your career while making a sustainable impact on the world and the communities we care about.

What you'll really get from an internship at AtkinsRéalis

You might be wondering – what's actually in it for you? As an AtkinsRéalis intern, you won't be sitting on the sidelines. You'll be a valued part of the team, working alongside experienced professionals, learning by doing and contributing to meaningful projects that help shape a more sustainable and innovative future for Peru.

And there are so many opportunities here. AtkinsRéalis has been supporting Peru's industries since 1993, with expertise spanning environmental assessment, sustainability consulting, engineering, and construction. As the industry continues to modernize and adopt higher social and environmental standards, the demand for our expertise and capabilities will only grow. That's why we're excited to offer the next generation of innovators real opportunities for career growth, long-term stability, and meaningful work that genuinely improves quality of life in Peru.
