What’s your role at Atkins?
My role is Head of Recruitment for UK & Europe. The function recruits all of our new hires for the UK & Europe region which spans Early Careers, Experienced hires and Contingent workers. I also lead on Diversity and Inclusion for the region to support our aspiration to become a truly inclusive employer and an employer of choice for prospective hires.

Tell us a little bit about your background.
I joined Atkins back in 2005 and have spent the majority of that time in the recruitment function. I have always had variety and challenge in my role and have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people and teams throughout my career.

What’s the best thing about your job?
The people and the challenges – you’re constantly developing and growing hence why I have been able to shape my career and remain with the organisation.

What makes a good day at work?
When someone says thank you or well done! I can go home then knowing I have made a difference.
