Overview
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Graduate to join our team in the water and wastewater sector. This role offers hands-on working in designing mechanical equipment and systems that support critical water treatment and distribution infrastructure.
Your role
As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in preparing mechanical designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities under senior engineer guidance.
- Support in sizing and selection of pumps, valves, pipes, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Support preparation of pipe, valve, and equipment schedules.
- Assist in compiling mechanical equipment specifications (e.g., pumps, screens, macerators, blowers).
- Contribute to developing mechanical general arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Assist in review of supplier/contractor submittals and technical data.
- Support preparation of design reports, calculations, and technical notes.
- Support senior engineers in resolving technical issues during construction and commissioning.
- Learn and assist with development of P&IDs and control philosophies for mechanical systems.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, process, ICA).
- Participate in occasional site visits for surveys, data collection, and understanding installation constraints.
- Contributing to new innovative ideas/ making suggestions for innovation.
- Exhibit positive energy and enthusiasm and is self-motivated.

- B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Possess good communication and soft skills and be able to function independently with minimal supervision or as a member of a multidiscipline team.
- Some knowledge of industry, best practices or regulatory standards, regulations and codes pertinent to Water Industry.
