Overview
We are seeking for an Apprentice role to join our team in Mumbai office.
Your role
- Assist in the design and analysis of drainage networks, including stormwater, wastewater, and surface water systems. Perform hydrological and hydraulic calculations, including runoff estimation, pipe sizing, and flow capacity checks.
- Familiarity with urban drainage systems, sewerage planning, and waterlogging mitigation concepts. Learn best practices in sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS) and green infrastructure.
- Support land development design workflows, knowledge of grading concepts, contours, slopes, and site development principles including plot layouts, road alignments, and utility coordination.
- Prepare 2D drawings, base plans, and construction documentation under senior engineer guidance. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GIS data, topographic maps, and utility plans. Contribute to preparation of as-built, record documentation as needed.
- Potable water demand calculations, hydraulic analysis, spatial and valve location plannings.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, design notes, quantity estimates, and presentations.
- Work to high standards, ensuring the right first-time delivery.
- Ownership of the work of self.
- Contribute to technical discussions/meetings positively through knowledge sharing.

About you
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University.
- Demonstrable knowledge of network design or hydrology and hydraulic modelling as part of academic projects.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/ Civil3D/ Causeway Flow is preferred.
- Good report writing skills and fluency in English.
Desirable skills:
- Value addition through innovations and automation in project delivery.
- Understanding of AI and how it can improve day to day operations.
