We specialise in all aspects of process engineering, within the Water Sector this includ es water, waste water and bioresources treatment, both in the UK and internationally . Process Engineering project opportunities also stretch to other sectors such as nuclear and defence . We provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle from feasibility to process commissioning, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases.

Bring your skills to the mix as an Associate Director in Clean Water Process Engineering, you'll play a vital role in a broad range of aspect of our business development and process engineering on traditional and t ransformational p rogrammes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic water sector engineering projects at home and abroad.If being a part of a team with a passion for this industry is for you then we would love to talk to you.

We currently have opportunities in our London or Epsom office.

Your role

  • Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Defining briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Alongside project managers, s uccessfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with and within teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Setting,as well as adherence to quality assurance standards in design.
  • Grow, develop and manage process engineering capability within the practice.

About you

  • Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
  • Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and design experience of drinking water treatment process and principles – conventional and advance treatment technologies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of process engineering considerations and their impact on project - and operational risks.
  • Design optimisation and/or operational experience of main process unit's'operations.
  • Willingness to lead, contribute and develop our technical knowledge networks.
  • Experience of design and delivery of projects with adherence to UK safety and environmental regulations, process safety techniques (e.g. HAZOP), knowledge of capital and operational costs - and risk assessments, as well as whole life carbon assessments.
