Associate MEP Practice Manager – Building Services

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Chartered Engineer with over 16 years of expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting) systems and multi-disciplinary building design. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering strategically important assignments, demonstrating leadership, sound judgment, and technical excellence. Recognized by peers and clients, this individual will play a key role in driving innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation across complex projects.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge of system integration principles across multi-disciplinary designs and MEP systems.
  • In-depth understanding of building codes in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar.
  • Familiarity with international building codes (US, Canada, UK) is preferred.
  • Expertise in sustainable design and compliance with regional sustainability requirements.
  • Lead projects from concept design through full lifecycle delivery.
  • Interpret client requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
  • Act as Project Technical Leader or Technical Reviewer on large/complex projects.
  • Organize and participate in technical/financial review calls, client presentations, and strategic workshops.
  • Contribute to bid proposals and project management activities.
  • Promote and implement digital tools and systems for efficient project delivery.
  • Deep understanding of technical integration management processes and analytical approaches.
  • Knowledge of supporting disciplines: Engineering Safety Management, Human Factors, Sustainability
