Overview
This position will be responsible for carrying out duties of an independent inspection Consultant (IIC) for bridges and highway structures
Responsibilities:
- Conduct structure inspection on highway structures to assess structural condition, identify defects and evaluate structural integrity.
- Prepare and review inspection reports and arrange submissions.
- Project Management: plan and coordinate structure inspection, including scheduling inspections, allocating resources, and monitoring programme.
- Co-ordination and collaboration with Term Contractor
Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent related;
- Corporate Member of HKIE(Civil/Structural)/ICE/IStructE;
- 5 years relevant post-chartered experience in bridge design, construction or maintenance;
- Design, construction or maintenance experience of bridges, noise barriers, sign gantries, and/or other highway structures;
- Experienced in HyD Term Contract is highly preferred;
- Good communication skill in English and Cantonese.
