Channels, Content & Data Manager – Internal Communication

Overview

Internal communication has the power to drive organisational consistency, strategic alignment and employee performance in a fast-paced working environment.

We are looking for a collaborative team player to join our worldwide network of communication professionals and marketing experts to oversee our channels and content for the UK&I internal comms team. You will also be responsible for gathering insightful analytics and reporting the effectiveness of our internal communications channels.

AtkinsRéalis is looking to recruit a Channels, Content and Data Manager, to support the growth of our business and create a better future for our planet.

You will be an integral part of our regional team. You will have the opportunity to work and be a part of a transformative, collaborative and energetic environment and support your peers in the delivery of integrated communications that are aligned with our global business objectives.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Internal Communications, and support key stakeholders across all aspects of internal communications.

Your role

  • Degree educated or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline would be preferred but is not essential.
    Professional qualification from a relevant discipline would be preferred, but is not essential
  • Experience in internal communications and/or employee engagement, ideally gained within a large matrix organisations.
  • Creating and managing editorial calendar, creating content across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint intranets.
  • Experience evaluating and measuring the impact of internal communications channels, systems and campaigns to drive improvement and new ways of working.
  • Highly organised and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with demonstratable ability to think strategically and effectively plan content across multiple channels.
  • Confident to advise others (including senior stakeholders) on internal communications best practice.
  • Able to build effective working relationships and influence people.
  • High energy, with the drive and enthusiasm to make things happen.
  • Self-motivated and able to take ownership of projects with limited direction.
  • Able to work effectively with ambiguity and manage stakeholders during periods of change.
  • Knowledge of the markets/industries that the organisation operates in.

About you

  • Work collaboratively as part of a global team of internal and external communicators and marketeers working on both regional and global projects where required.
  • Managing editorial calendar.
  • Connecting with Creative team to align visual support across messages and channels.
  • Creating content across multiple channels as required.
  • Devise effective measure and reporting mechanisms and contribute to regular reporting on functional as well as tactical performance.
  • Ensure that practices, procedures, methodologies and tools are used effectively so that the objectives set out in the business plan are attained.
  • The successful candidate will be a motivated, creative, collaborative team player who is willing to try new approaches to achieve results.
  • The role will be well suited for someone who can get up to speed quickly, bring people together and establish positive working relationships, and develop as well as deliver internal communications strategies on a variety of topics with different degrees of complexity.
