Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer – Site Supervision to join our team in Riyadh for a prestigious mixed-use development project. The candidate will play a critical role in overseeing electrical works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local KSA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale mixed-use developments (residential, commercial, hospitality) within the GCC region.

Your role

  • Conduct site inspections to ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
  • Monitor and enforce contractor compliance with project specifications, shop drawings, and relevant codes.
  • Review and provide technical feedback on:
  • Material submittals
  • Method statements
  • Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Shop and as-built drawings
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, architectural) to ensure seamless integration of services.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Witness and validate testing & commissioning activities for major electrical systems.
  • Ensure adherence to KSA codes and standards (SEC regulations, SBC, IEC standards).
  • Identify and resolve site issues proactively, providing technical solutions where required.
  • Prepare and maintain:
  • Daily inspection reports
  • NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
  • Weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Support project management team in ensuring quality, safety, and timeline compliance.

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree is a plus).
  • 8–12 years of experience in electrical engineering with a strong focus on site supervision for building projects.
  • Proven experience working on mixed-use developments (commercial, residential, hospitality).
  • Prior experience in KSA or GCC projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Saudi Building Code (SBC)
  • SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) standards
  • International standards (IEC, BS)
  • Familiarity with testing & commissioning procedures for electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and MS Office tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced site environment.
