PMO Reporting Manager (Saudi National)

Al Ula, Maddinah, Saudi Arabia

Overview

AtkinsRealis are looking for a Project Manager with PMO expertise to be part of our team in Al Ula. Based in Al Ula, this role will support the regional development. We are looking for a Saudi national to fill this role.

Your role

PMO Excellence

  • Design operating models, interaction models, governance structures, frameworks, and cross-functional workflows and processes.
  • Develop end-to-end processes including RACI matrices, SLAs, workflows, and procedures and supporting materials aligned with RCU organizational standards and best practices.
  • Translate strategic PMO objectives into practical, implementable frameworks for execution and operation.
  • Integrate concepts from development lifecycles and value chains (e.g., RIBA, EXPRO and similar models).
  • Develop and drive continuous improvement of guides that define services, functional accountabilities, and scope in alignment with the approved mandate, and update them when needed.
  • Conduct benchmarks when needed against best practices when designing execution / operation mechanisms and tailor them to organizational needs.
  • Develop standardized toolkits, templates, checklists, and guidance documents.

Project Management and Stakeholders Engagement

  • Lead stakeholder engagement both internally within PMO and externally with other stakeholders.
  • Moderate and facilitate meetings, ensuring discussions are productive, structured, and aligned to the agenda, and professionally redirecting conversations when they drift.
  • Develop Executive level presentations and report to Leadership on the department's progress, challenges, and support requests.
  • Develop content and materials needed to engage stakeholders on relevant matters translating technical information into meaningful insights to facilitate their understanding and enable informed decision-making.
  • Support in maintaining risk and issue logs and attend as applicable to mitigation or corrective actions needed.
  • Support in maintaining strong documentation discipline including version control, archiving, formatting consistency, and structured accessibility.
  • Reporting: Develop ad-hoc reports and presentations as needed.
  • Develop detailed schedule for assigned work elements and or projects and manage the schedule updates.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple parallel tasks, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines.

About you

Professional / technical skills

  • Strong knowledge of PMI project management methodology and development lifecycles and Governance (e.g., RIBA, AIA, APMG Infrastructure Business Case Model, EXPRO and similar models).
  • Solid understanding of PMO design / setup and excellence, process value chains, development phases, dependencies, decision stage gates, and cross-functional inputs.
  • High proficiency in process design, workflow mapping, operational modeling, and documentation standards.
  • Ability to design and deliver high-quality presentations that communicate key messages with clarity and impact with proper storytelling & communication to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong capability in project coordination, timeline management, and stakeholder interfacing.
  • Skilled in documenting and managing risks, issues, and interdependencies in a structured manner.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking; ability to structure problems and synthesize information effectively.
  • Competence in meeting facilitation, agenda management, and discussion steering.
  • Digital Tools Proficiency:
    • Excel: Good skills for dashboards, tracking tools, and data analysis.
    • PowerPoint: Proficient in creating executive-level presentations with strong visual storytelling and
    • transforming technical information into executive insights.
    • Word: Strong documentation and formatting capabilities.
    • Outlook: Efficient email, calendar, and meeting coordination.
    • MS Project: Proficiency in scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
    • Advantageous : Familiarity with PMO automation tools, BI dashboards, and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI).
  • Capacity Building: Support training and onboarding for the processes and tools to enhance team capability.
  • Knowledge Management: Ensure proper archiving for Knowledge management artifacts such as
  • processes, tools and templates.

  • Professional conduct and confident presence in engagements with Chiefs, VPs, Directors, and senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills, including structured and active listening, clear synthesis, and precise documentation of discussions.
  • Strong business acumen in PMO, Capital Projects, organizational disciplines, reliability, and consistency in delivering high-quality outputs with managing deadlines.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently, self-starter, prioritize tasks, and maintain performance when handling multiple concurrent demands.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, anticipating needs, identifying gaps, and taking initiative where appropriate.
  • Adaptability & Innovation: Comfortable managing priorities in a dynamic environment and driving continuous improvement
