Project Engineer - Water & Wastewater

Overview

Your role

  • Lead water and wastewater process design team in preliminary and detailed engineering design packages including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Work on Pumping station, tanks or reservoirs for process design.
  • Work with multidisciplinary design teams in the preparation of engineering design packages.
  • Project management to ensure quality of project deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Participate in water and wastewater proposal preparation and business development activities.
  • Leading, guiding, and mentoring a team of intermediate and junior staff.

About you

  • Holds a University Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related training.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer with PEO.
  • Has at least 8 years' relevant experience.
  • Has proven expertise and advanced knowledge in pumping and treatment technologies and is recognized as a technical leader.
  • Is familiar with municipal and provincial design standards in Ontario and other Canadian provinces.
  • MS Office Skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $100,000 - $130,000 annually (Only Applicable to Ontario). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
