Overview
As a Senior Engineer, you will apply your civil, infrastructure, or structural engineering skills to deliver river and maritime works. You'll help clients manage assets and operations more efficiently and safely through integrated, forward-thinking engineering approaches.
Your role
- Demonstrate strong understanding of water-related structures (e.g., treatment facilities, pump stations, tanks, retaining walls).
- Lead feasibility studies, concept development, and detailed design packages with relevant code knowledge.
- Apply appropriate analytical techniques to break down complex problems and present technical work to clients.
- Deliver independently in one or more technical areas with minimal supervision.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables while ensuring quality, innovation, and compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, environmental, structural, planning).
- Assign tasks to technicians/apprentices and support junior staff development.

About you
- Bachelor'S or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university (Chartered Engineer status preferred).
- Strong knowledge of design codes and standards (Eurocode, BS codes, ACI).
- Proficiency in structural analysis/design software (e.g., Robot, STAAD Pro).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prepare technical reports and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Adaptability and flexibility in response to project changes.
