Job Title: System Interface Manager – Rail Metro Projects

This role requires to manage and coordinate all system interfaces across Rail Metro projects, ensuring seamless integration between engineering disciplines, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for safe, timely, and successful project delivery.
What will you do?
1. Interface Management
- Develop and maintain the Project Interface Management Plan and Interface Register.
- Identify, monitor, and close internal and external project interfaces.
- Ensure timely resolution of interface issues affecting project delivery.
2. System Integration
- Coordinate interfaces among OCS, Traction Power, Civil, Signaling, Telecommunications, SCADA, Rolling Stock, Stations, and Depot systems.
- Ensure technical compatibility and compliance across all project systems.
- Support integrated design, testing, and commissioning activities.
3. Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the focal point for interface management with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
- Lead interface meetings and drive action closure.
- Maintain effective communication across all project stakeholders.
4. Engineering & Construction Support
- Review design deliverables to identify interface risks and gaps.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering reviews and approvals.
- Support construction, installation, testing, and commissioning teams in resolving interface-related issues.
5. Risk & Compliance Management
- Identify and mitigate interface-related technical, schedule, and commercial risks.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
- Escalate critical interface issues impacting project objectives.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain interface registers, action trackers, and interface agreements.
- Provide regular interface status reports to project management.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of interface actions.
Experience, Education and other Required:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronics, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
- Overall experience of 20-22 years with minimum 10 years of experience in Rail/Metro.
- Minimum 7 years in System Integration, Interface Management, Systems Engineering, or Project Engineering roles.
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary interfaces within Metro Rail projects.
- Sound knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements for rail infrastructure projects.
Preferred Industry Experience: Metro Rail, Railway Electrification, Urban Transit, High-Speed Rail, Transportation Infrastructure, and Large EPC Projects.
Good understanding of: Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS), Traction Power Supply, Signaling & Telecommunications, SCADA Systems, Rolling Stock, Civil & Depot Works, Station Systems and System Integration
