We're growing our Buildings & Places team across Oxford & Cambridge and are looking for an Associate Director in Project Management.
This is a key role for someone with a strong network in the Oxford / Cambridge market, who understands the local property and estates landscape and can use those relationships to unlock opportunities, build long‑term client partnerships, and drive sustainable growth.
You'll be joining a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team focused on delivering high‑quality outcomes across buildings and estate portfolios — with a real emphasis on creating a positive, inclusive and high‑performing culture.
Your role
You'll play a central role in delivering projects and growing our Buildings & Places offer across Oxford & Cambridge:
- Lead the delivery of projects and programmes across buildings and property estates
- Build and grow strong relationships with clients, particularly across estate‑based portfolios
- Use your local network to identify opportunities, develop relationships and win work in the region
- Support the growth of our Oxford & Cambridge offices, helping to strengthen our presence in the local market
- Contribute to the development of our Buildings & Places offering across estates, assets and portfolios
- Foster a positive, collaborative working culture where people feel supported, engaged and motivated
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with governance, budgets and quality expectations
- Manage commercial performance, risk and change throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide clear reporting on programme, quality, financial and KPI performance
- Lead, mentor and develop teams across disciplines
- Work closely with colleagues across the wider business to drive joined‑up growth

About you
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with a clear market presence and a passion for working across buildings and estates:
- MRICS or APM Chartered (or equivalent)
- A strong, established network within the Oxford–Cambridge property and estates market
- Proven ability to develop client relationships and win work locally
- Experience delivering projects across buildings and/or estate portfolios
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business development
- A collaborative leader who enjoys developing people and building strong teams
- A genuine interest in contributing to a positive office culture and team environment
- Good understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance
- Well organised, proactive and committed to delivering high‑quality outcomes
